I thought that this article was interestig. I did not know that NASCAR used hydraulic lifters. I can't believe that they adjust to .002 gap with hydraulics because of the trick with the 2 washers niside the lifter. I have not heard of this way to rotate the motor to get at the bottom of the lobe.
