Speedo restoration shops will use a geared down lathe with an attachment that can slowly peel the tang back. I’ve carefully ground off the tang or 2 and then used a pea size spot of JB weld to reattach. Not 100% correct but it’s better than bending the bezel and destroying a good gauge.
