Here's how I set up my fuel system. The braided cover is just insulation over a hardline from the tank. It goes into a McRobb fuel pump. You can just see the edge of the fuel filter peeking out beside the valve cover.
This goes into a Fuel Pressure regulator to keep me at 5 PSI into the Holley Carb. I tried to keep as much of the plumbing in hardline, only using rubber lines to join to the fittings, and to provide a little stress relief.
I have some other pictures of my throttle cable mount either earlier int his thread, or in a similar thread. This was the Throttle Cable Stress Reliever design from John Taphorn (JTPantera).
In this picture the throttle linkage is not connected, and my second return spring (like Punkdog's) to the manifold bolt is not hooked up.
