Reply to "Tim Horton '74 Pantera"

Glen, 2 years ago I had my 72 Pantera at a car show in Bothwell and a guy came up and started talking about Panteras. It turns out he was the insurance investigator for Tim Horton's accident.
He said Tim was trying to out run the police and was going around 140 mph. The front wheel dropped off the roadway on to the soft shoulder sent the car accross the road into a light pole. He said if Tim had been wearing his seat belt he would have survived as there was very little damage to the cab area. I saw this same guy at the London show last June so he is still around, I don't know his name but he seems to go to the bigger shows. I will look for him at the London show June 10 and see if I can get his name and phone number. You might contact the insurance companies for the accident report, it may be available in the archives.
