From what I think I know, a 351W if bored & stroked to 400+ and equipped with a radical cam, aluminum heads and a properly jetted carb, will deliver 550+. See Hot Rod mag- they currently have a build-up article on the 351W. If that isn't enough, and you are a small person, a 500+ inch big-block can be shoehorned into the Pantera. Note that all big-inch engines only get you up to speed faster; they don't allow any more top end (sometimes less) until you regear the ZF. Figure on $10,000 as a minimum to do the build-up/regearing right.
