Reply to "Vent Window Installation"

Armor All works great as a rubber lube. I use it to install windshields and back glass all the time.

Good description on the install by RiverRat. Make sure the rear (vent window) bar guide bar---front for the main window is pushed all the way forward at the top and bottom---as tight as you can get it before bolting it up. Remember the top screw is has a small head and the upper seal rubber should be notched and the screw head sits, just a bit. Also the window track rubber for that slide bar is a bit thinner and has a notch cut out for the upper mount support. If you do not notch the track rubber, your window will jamb at the top. Window adjustments are tricky so let me know when you're ready and I will try to talk you through if help is needed.
