Just an FYI---I do not install the whiskers with screws any longer. I put screws in the ends on the outer horizontal door trim only so it can be removed without pulling the front vent window. You can glue the whiskers on using black super weather strip adhesive and folded pieces of cardboard to keep the pressure on the whiskers while they dry. Works well and you will never scratch the glass from a screw head or reverse ding the trim from tiny screws that are to long---seen it many times.
