Thank you for the filter advice. I have the breadbox type filters but they look horrible, and almost not worth using at the risk of a rebuild. Is anybody using the thin foam filters that clip in like the air horn screens?
As for the valve covers, they were off the shelf in 70s, and probably still available, with the Detomaso logo casting machined into the louvers.
