Are you buying the car as an investment or as a car you want to drive and take to weekend shows? I, personally, like the pre-L cars because of their beautiful, sensuous lines without the flared fenders, spoilers, etc. But, that's me. My Pantera should be coming home to me TODAY!!! after four years of modifications (fuel injection, high hp engine, all leather interior and new seats, etc) that were done to make me want to drive it more often than I was, which was almost never. So, if you're buying it for your own enjoyment, get it done the way you want it and to hell with what others think.
