I'll take a trip to 'Pick 'n' Pull (local scrapyard) over the weekend. If I come across more than one of the timing pointers I'll grab them.

What do you mean by 'oil slinger'? Maybe windage tray? They are certainly available from aftermarket suppliers, but you should consider an Armando or Aviaid oil pan with the baffles and crank scraper all in.
