Hello,
I have been offered an early - european ? - Pantera (#1227, year 1971) and I wonder if there is some history known about this particular example, and also the type of the engine ? It is said that the mileage is below 30000 miles.
(I am not sure how to post pictures when the image is not online...Maybe someone can explain). Thank you!

Below the text box, click on "Add Attachment?" and drill down to the file. You're limited on picture size. Use 800 x 640 pixels. I recommend the pictures are no wider than 800 pixels for any internet application because 800 pixels is all you can fit on a 15" computer monitor, and some people may still be using a 13" monitor. So sayeth George P. You can also use a web photo service and provide the link or download from it.
Modifications that I can see:
Air cleaner, carb, steering wheel, seats, seat belts, rear deck spoiler, outside door mirrors, script on dash (although I am not sure with a pushbutton)radio, shifter knob, gauge between the two dash pods (again not sure with a push button car), cleaned and painted engine bay area, looks like no rear bumpers in the last pic but can't be sure. Did push button cars not come with rectangular side marker lights as well? The front is round and the rear seems to be missing. Also no black paint on the power rocker panel and the seams look like they are filled in. Side gill fins look like they are painted (highlighted) Experts?.....
Wow, many details that I coudn't pick ; steering wheel and gear lever knob are easily visible but not very worrying for me. The seller says "optional Mangusta seats"...I have never seen this kind of seat, though.
I am quite sure that I have seen early push-buttons without the rectangular side markers. The wheels should be single-slot, or I may be wrong...?
Don't the early cars have three a/c vents and defroster vents in the dash?

Should the wiper grills have exposed fasteners? I did see those sold as "billet" wipers grills at Precision Proformance and presumed those were aftermarket parts?

Do you have better pictures of those seats? I thought Mangusta seats had vertical pleats to match the console?

No, the euro market pushbuttons had 2 vents originally. The extra vent was a us update.

Yes, early pushbuttons have exposed fasteners on the wiper gills
