Hey Mikael, the above describes perfectly what you do with your time regarding other owners' projects, purchases and choices.

Clearly, you can give it - but can't take it.

Anyhow, hopefully you will enjoy your time away from the board as much as we will.

Just to be clear. Mikael's Pantera is surely a very nice car. But for me, the price and engine are too much. And I have given this feedback to Mikael.

So the buyer chimes in. With this quote above. But I have a mail from Matthijs that says: "If I would not have been able to make the deal with Mark, I would have returned to you."

Clearly sounds like he preferred Marks car over yours and you're blaming someone else.
Your posts are one of the few reasons why I don't return often to the forum.
Hopefully you'll sell soon and be away from those evil Pantera people.
Frowner One fewer car to see at Canadian events (not that Mark could drive them all at the same time anyway).

On the other hand - Congratulations Matthijs, the blue car is beautiful and I'm sure you'll get many years of enjoyment out of it ... and hopefully no speeding tickets or noise citations!

Frowner Will - what's going on, all of the cars in the GTA seem to be migrating away ... at Italian Car Day last year, there was me and 2 DeTomaso Innocenti Minis Confused Glad to see you're staying on the forums though, your knowledge and experience with the cars is something that shouldn't be lost ... you're always welcome to ride shotgun with me to events.
Seems like it's been way too long since any updates.

I've had 6776 for several months now and haven't really had much to deal with except a few small issues, some tuning, electrical stuff and a bad u-joint. Last weekend I participated in a local charity event where participants paid to do some timed high-speed runs down the runway at our small regional airfield. About 120 cars participated and they ranged from 1960's muscle to the latest Porsches, Vettes, Lambos, with a few Hypercars thrown in the mix (a Koenigsegg Agera RS — one of 25! and a Pagani Huayra). A few of us gave charity "fun rides" to generous passengers — which gave us more high-speed practice runs! I was a bit nervous pounding hard on the Pantera for a full day (especially after changing an axle a few hours before) but the car performed flawlessly—never overheating or slipping the clutch. I cautiously laughed as I watched a few fairly new Supercars overheat their transmissions and go into "limp" mode. Kinda funny watching a Porsche Carrera Turbo CRAWL down the runway at 15 mph...

It was great to have the support of Denis (and his beautiful go-anywhere Mangusta), Andy and Bohdan — who are both working on their Panteras but brought their German SUVs for Pace Car back-up duties. A super fun day and perfect weather. It was a really long day as I rolled back into my driveway almost 12 hours after leaving, and on only a few hours sleep, but well worth the effort!

The car ran beautifully. Solid and tough as a rock. I was impressed actually. I beat and was beaten by some Corvette Z06s but I think the ones that beat me were modified somewhat. I did 1/4 in about 11.7 and 222km/hr at the 1/2 mile. For some reason the website shows my 2nd run not my 3rd (better). Not bad for a 45 year old car on a really old runway with almost 10 year old rubber.
