Team,
Restoration for 4907 European GTS from 1972/3 is on going ..here my question on internal material for the sealing and adjacent parts.
Currently material is perforated and has an off white color/elephant teeth color and has a sponge rubber layer.
I want to replace it..

1) is this the correct color - off white?
2) is original perforated?
3) is surface smooth or does it have a pattern(see belwo samples)?
3) does original have the sponge layer?

I am looking for something like this..(picture)

Tx for help!

Matthias

Hello Matthias.

None of these in you pic is correct. I am told that the correct material is called
"Snake Bite"and this has the correct pattern. of

four holes pattern, I cannot seem to copy and paste it here so go to "Classic Alfa" in the uk and put "snake bite headlining material."

if you email me at
fenlon7@gmail.com

I will send you the link, regards Peter

Thanks for the information, I was wondering where I'll find that when I will be there.
