Actually the 911 SC with the 3.0 liter motor was around from the years of 78 - 83... (I used to have a 83 911 SC)

The 90 C4 was the new body style and has all time 4wheel drive... a tough little car with I believe either a 3.2 or 3.6 liter

As for people valuing it against a Pantera... going cost wise it the 90 C4 porsche goes for in the mid 20's for a decent one so it is feasible to look for a trade to a pantera.

Just my two cents...

Dave
Obviously your car is worth more to you than it is to me. So I'll let you keep it and will continue to consider the 3 that have been offered for trade.

Yes, the 90 C4 has a 3.6 motor and all wheel drive. If your going to race a Porsche, this is the most sought after car for that purpose. If your looking for a car that handles extrimely well and it quite fast consdiering it's a 6, it's a fine car. And this car can be driven in the snow, try that in a Pantera. Without the rebuilding of the motor, 90's are going for in the mid 20's to mid 30's. With all the work done on my car, It's worth as much as any stock or nearly stock Pantera out there.
Thanks Dave.

Coz has a nice car. I've talked to him at length, seen the pictures, checked the tech data on the C4s. The cars only 2 weaknesses from the factory were a $10 distributor belt and the cylinder base design, both of which are re-engineered and freshened on the 3.6 L in Coz's Carrera. Kind of wish DeTomaso had that kind of factory engineering track record. Only a low IQ prick would make a negative statement about another guy's car without any knowledge of what they're talking about. Pantera owners and the guys on this site are a great group for the most part Coz. Ignore the exceptions.
No problem buddy. I took it with a gain of salt. Thanks for the post.

Thanks Mark.

If no one want to trade you for your 911 C4. Put it up for sale. I know once you sell it and have money in hand we will have no problem finding you a Pantera Good Luck

Hey Mark.
Sorry for not getting back to you before now. Been really busy. Sold the Porsche. Bought a GT5, picking it up April 5th. Found a great car at a great price. :-))

Right now I'm redoing the top end of the engine with new heads and replacing the cam. I might go with 180 header. I also replace the coolant hoses and move the coolant tanks. I started to clean up the wiring in the engine area too.

Coz were are you from and have you found a GT5 Pantera yet?
