i have a 71 pre-L.it has koni shocks & stock springs.I would like to stiffen the car up and lower it about 1" to 1 1/2".does anyone offer a spring to do this?also, what springrates should i look for?the car is mostly street driven but i am planning some track time also.ride quality is moderately important, but performance is more so.
thanks,

First, are the stock spring spacers out? That alone lowers the car an inch or so. Hall Pantera and others sell "GTS" springs that are stiffer and shorter than stock, and will require you to reset your Konis. Note the rear spring/shocks are different than the fronts. And some vendors sell aftermarket shocks that have adjustable spring perches which will lower the car selectively. These use non-stock springs. I'd ask a Pantera vendor what they recommend rather than trying to re-invent the wheel yourself and maybe getting the wrong units. Good luck.
