Anybody know what type "SRB" 'Soft' brake pads the are? I may want to get replacements, spares etc.

They are from four piston calipers, with a single long cotter pin and spring at he top, and single backing plates, with a groove thru the middle to look and perform like four brake pads per caliper. The top of the backing plate is straight, about 4.75" agross. The calipers are unknown, they say 'DE TOMASO" and are black.

My own self taught tip: one axle's pads were a little rough on the edges and didn't slide as smoothly as the other axle's pads in the calipers. So, I filed smooth the brake pad edges to reduce drag and wear a little, and not rob horsepower.

If I install a front-rear brake proportioning valve, where is a good location inside the cockpit to install the proportioning valve? Suggestions? Thanks.
