MAN! All of those are SO far superior to the original it's just not funny. The "Race" looks the most comfortable and modern; the "LeCarra" looks like a period upgrade; the Prototipo makes me want it EVEN MORE since it was GTS appropriate. In fact, if you'll take it out of your car, I'll take it!

I've seen a bunch of them on ebay and am feverishly in the hunt. Thanks guys!

What DIAMETER wheels are you guys running? Is everybody at 13 - 13.5"?

Keep 'em coming, ESPECIALLY if you have a Momo collapsible hub and wheel you're sick of seeing!

I have a 13" diameter LeCarra that looks identical to Mark's. It's a beautiful wheel, looks like it belongs in the Pantera, and is comfortable to drive with.

I don't know if the hub it's mounted on came with the wheel, or if that's a separate piece from one of the vendors. I'd give a couple of the vendors a call and ask.

I strongly suggest the D wheel. It makes it easier to get in and out and give you room to stretch on those long drives. it also makes access under the dash much easier.

My two cents is don't just order something online. Take your car (and your hex tool) down to the local performance shop and try out some wheels. Put them on and do some laps around the block. Keep trying until you find just the right size and fit for you.

I love my Prototipo wheel, you can get them new either in black or brushed finish. I have the brushed wheel - you can see it in my photo page at this site. If I had to do it over again I would probably go for black. The LeCarra wheel is not to my liking but is obviously popular. Getting the proper hub for the MOMO is the trick, ordering it from MOMO(LTB motorsports) directly is a mistake, don't try it, although I did get my wheel from them. I think I got my hub from precision pro-formance - the one I ordered from Graham pantera was very nice, but it didn't fit. Good luck.

Luck is what I'll need then, since I ordered a new hub from Graham today. Was told by the 'other' vendor that the hub for Momo to Pantera "...hasn't been made for like 8 years" in a smug sort of way I'm about to get sick of.

ANYWAY, we'll see if it fits the Prototipo (in the ever difficult to find 13.5") will 'mate' to my Pantera. Keep the posts coming, and thanks for all the input.
When I got my hub from graham I tried to slide it onto the shaft which is the stock shaft - how do I know this, because it had the stock original wheel on it when I started. Anyway the splines on the Graham hub were too tight and it drove the shaft down through the bushing, I didn't realize until later that this was possible (lesson: hold up on the steering wheel shaft from below the dash when sliding the hub on, use some lube on the splines). With the shaft pushed down I thought I needed to machine the hub to get it to fit down into the plastic surround, so rather than return the hub I had a friend machine it to get more clearance - it was at this point that I realized that the hub was not machined to mate with the splines on my shaft - since I had machined the lower skirt off the hub to try to make it fit (we didn't do anything to the splines) Graham would not take the hub as a return. They were very nice but in the end I felt they sold me a defective product, it is paid for and sitting as an expensive lump in my garage. Yours however, will probably work
fine.
