Have been unsuccessful in finding reverse after reinstalling motor and connecting linkage. Prior to disconnecting linkage, I measured turnbuckle distance (51.7mm), painted an alignment line across top of turnbuckle, and counted threads showing between center of turnbuckle and jam nut on each end (9 threads and 12 threads respectively). Even with all these stars aligned and working around either side of these sttings, have been unable to find reverse. Any ideas, or do I need to follow Dick Ruzzin's approach from Goose intl website and take apart shifter box.

Thanx

Mark,

Can you manually shift the trans (loosen up the linkage) into Reverse, put the shifter lever into the Rev location in the gate, tighten everything back down and see where it goes from there????

Really odd that it doesn't work!!! Shifter at rest lines up with the 2-3 gate directly in the middle, and centered fore-aft in the neutral slot.

If all of that fails, perhaps there is something amiss in the shifter linkage box....
