OK here is what I am thinking. I want to do a Pantera Rally to Kingston in Canada in September. So far I have two other Pantera owners on the edge. If they get their Panteras worked out I hope they are in. So anyone in the Northeast want to join in? I will work out the drive route and time on were people live who wants to come a long.

Well that that was fast one guy out unless I can talk him into backing off his engine timing so he can run pump fuel. He runs 10:1 with race fuel and as much timing as he can. If he backs off the timing he could run pump fuel but it comes with a lost of 30 to 50HP. I dont see a problem when you have over 500HP at the rear wheels.

The dates are Sept 3 to 5 2010

Why can't he just back the timing off for the trip, then crank it back up when he returns?

LOL been there said that LOL
That's great Don!

So far I have heard from Mel Goldenberg that he's coming. So is Mark DeCasien. Michael Elio is also planning to come and Ron Lombardo is hoping that his sister in law will arrive to help take care of yet another new baby (coming soon!) so that he can join us as well.

And today I got a PM from Larry W looking for hotel info for Kingston!

It's great to see so many of our US brothers making the effort to join us. Should be an awesome time!
Hi all,

I'm going to do my best to come up this year. Every event depends upon how my grandson is doing--he lives with us and has several issues which often do not allow me to exit the homestead.

Kingston is a great place to take your car and the spousel unit---hope to see you all there.

Mark,

You'll have it figured out soon, I'm sure. You've got a month and hopefully it will only require a few evenings of work to resolve. I know how you feel, however, as I spent months replacing my entire cooling system only to discover that my lean-running carb was the principal culprit to my my over-heating woes. At least I now have a new rad, fans, thermostat, water pump, stainless pipes, silicone hoses and a well-adjusted carb.

Mark I am now on to something but how should I go about cleaning out the tank
Mark,

I'm disappointed that you won't be joining us this year. I hope it's not a dirty gas tank that is holding you back.

Having just returned from beating the crap out of my car for over 1200 miles on wild mountain roads, I have renewed respect for the durability and long legs of the Pantera. I know you already know this, but for anyone else on the fence about coming to Kingston, get in and drive!

Mark
