Hey Mike,
Yes, folks typically just mention the last 4 digits of their VIN when referring to their cars (with well below 10K cars built there's virtually no chance for two cars to end with the same 4 digits so it's a convenient shorthand). If you're registered on the ProvaMo website http://provamo.com/ , those 4 digits will let you look up, see, and read about a good number of cars (if owners have put info there over the years), you can also upload photos and write some history on your own car as you tweak, modify, restore and/or just plain enjoy it.
Mike, your beautiful new Pantera is well known in N CA, but one thing I remember is, at 'Vegas one year it developed a fatal attraction for a swarm of honey-bees who tried to build a new nest in the left rear wheelwell.... in downtowm Las Vegas! Roger had to drive at speeds of 45-50 mph to get away from them when we left town. So you own a verified sweet Pantera!

Larry, you know the Silver Panteras were delivered from the factory with 100 more horsepower than all the other colors.

Someone in the Dealer's Service Department heard about that and took them off of the cars before delivery to the first owners.

They were never the wiser? Is that a reflection on the original Silver Pantera Owners? Eeker
