Hi all,
I am currently doing a bare metal refinish on my Pantera #1128 & have found that the doors have had some very ordinary repairs done in the past. My question is are the door skins available through Pantera parts suppliers good quality & are the profiles the same for the push button & rectangle handle doors. Thanks in advance for your help.

I bought new door skins about 10 years ago from one of the pantera vendors. It took a long time to get them and one side was about 1/4" larger than the existing door. The edges were bent over 90 degrees. I ended up selling them and welding in new metal in the corner of both doors. It is not the same as replacing a door skin on a newer car and requires some one with good metal working skills.

I'm in Sydney and have two new alloy door skins if you are interested?
I bought Richard T's door skins.
He didn't disclose the size difference.. Roll Eyes
But I found a set of NOS panels from ford and bought them for my car so I will not be using the vendors panels.
There is a difference but the main reason I'm not using them is that they have some pitting from sitting around with surface rust, and I didn't like the way the door handles supports are made.
They could be made to work though.
