Hall has them in stock for like $800. That might have been a closeout? I don't know. These are made to go out the sides near the stock locations not through the a/c condenser hole. They were made for them by Ford Performance Parts in Washington who is a Ford header specialist.

2" primaries and 2-1/2" exhausts.

I have them on my car and have only good things to say about them. I like the side exits.

Rene,

I offer them in stainless only . They come with merge collectors and V-band clamps for muffler attachment. They are fully TIG welded and are absolutely beautiful! The typical lead time is 3-4 weeks but I currently have one set in stock ( 351C/stock head config)

Let me know if you're interested. '

Thanks,
Ron

I have a set of Ron's headers. I'm sure his design, like most (all?) others require spark plug access from underneath. Of course its a hassle to have to get under the car but I can actually replace the plugs in my Pantera faster than I can in my neighbors '70 Mach 1 with a 351C. You'll also need to think about plug wire routing. Mine come from the top with Kevlar sleeves for protection. I've also heard of routing them from the bottom.

Thanks for the reply Mark.

The headers on Mark's car are a few years old and made of mild steel. The design is basically the same with the exception of the material( Stainless ) and the flanges are a bit more streamlined and some of the pipes are moved very slightly to give more plug wire routing. Like everything, it is an evolution .

The plugs can all be accessed from the bottom . I typically use a Snap-On chrome swivel spark pug socket which allows some of them to be accessed from the top.
