I am trying to track down a white 1984 GT5 that appeared on the cover of the November 1991 POCA Newsletter. At that time, it belonged to a Derek Youngquist, and had appeared that year in the TOPOC Concours DeTomaso.

Does anyone know the chassis number of this car, or what happened to it?

Good memory, Ron.

Even with the updates (bumpers, wheels etc.), I wonder if this is the same car:

The small Euro marker lights are unusual and few cars have them. Perhaps the owner switched it back to Euro spec after buying it.

Ron the first thing I saw this morning when I looged on to the internet...LOL Sen. Debbie Stabenows husband "admits" to using a internet based prostitute at a hotel for $150...Lmao at least the others were using high class hookers!!!

Tara says that they do not have records going back far enough to answer the question, and she doubts that Gary will remember. Gary does not seem to be in very much, so getting a hold of him has not proved possible so far. Tara suggested I speak with Bev, but I'd rather get a meat cleaver between the eyes so that's not on.

If any of you are on Bev's select preferred customers list, perhaps you could give her a call and ask if she can supply the VIN for this car?
I am a select preferred customer, but am sure she won't know the VIN. I do not remember Gary ever talking about owning a white car. I'm sure he would have mentioned something while both my white cars were there. Heck, he even wore a Canadian's hockey shirt when I would show up.

The Japanese car (http://p400sv.at.infoseek.co.jp/GT5.10.htm) looks identical except for the wheels, front bumper and lights in the air dam. But something makes me think it is not the same car.
