Hi Peter,

That was Gary Hall's personal ride before Derek bought it. Derek sold the car back to Gary who then re-sold it to a collector in Japan. After that, no idea. Might want to call Gary to get more info.

There is a site on the internet of a bunch of pantera's in Japan ..cant remmeber where i seen the link...maybe attached to the PI site ??? But there is a binch of them over there.

The small Euro marker lights are unusual and few cars have them. Perhaps the owner switched it back to Euro spec after buying it.

I have been told GARY HALL is no longer able to conduct business, no reason was given. He had gone way beyond what was expected in a matter on my last PANTERA, I wished to again thank him when ordering. JD---perhaps it was a poor joke?

I'm sure it was no joke. His health has been failing over the last few years and unfortunately (as I'm told) he/Hall Pantera has not been able to offer the same level of service and expertise of years gone by. Very unfortunate for all.

Tara says that they do not have records going back far enough to answer the question, and she doubts that Gary will remember. Gary does not seem to be in very much, so getting a hold of him has not proved possible so far. Tara suggested I speak with Bev, but I'd rather get a meat cleaver between the eyes so that's not on.

If any of you are on Bev's select preferred customers list, perhaps you could give her a call and ask if she can supply the VIN for this car?

I am a select preferred customer, but am sure she won't know the VIN. I do not remember Gary ever talking about owning a white car. I'm sure he would have mentioned something while both my white cars were there. Heck, he even wore a Canadian's hockey shirt when I would show up.

The Japanese car (http://p400sv.at.infoseek.co.jp/GT5.10.htm) looks identical except for the wheels, front bumper and lights in the air dam. But something makes me think it is not the same car.

Peter, You have a Pantera GT5 and live in BC. If that doesn't make you happy, you're going to need more than a number from Japan...
