Have a question of an Mangusta Speedoometer I bought sometimes ago.
He has a golden needle, but I think it should a silver one normaly.
Did everybody know about?

AFAIK, Mangusta speedos are identical in appearance to Pantera speedos and can directly interchange. But since there are four different gear ratios and drive thread sizes, some caution should be used especially with E-Bay. There are also a lot of folks that rebuild these 40-yr-old instruments and not necessarily with Veglia-Borlotti parts so if you want stone-stock, caveat emptor!

Found also this picture of an early Mangusta, there where the needle gold too.
Could be, the speedo will be changed (mph to kph) on my set ago?

The Mangusta speedo is 1600 revolutions per mile, same as used on later Pantera. Switching a MPH to KPH speedo would be possible, but require both the dial face swap and the gear change for the odometer.
The gold dial is just fun, who could possibly explain it...Lee
