For Sale - Rare �pushbutton� 1971 Pantera � 3rd U.S. Pantera imported, S/N 1288

These early cars had many unique features. Original owner sold it to me in �86! All service records. Looks 100% stock from the outside.

Body

- Completely stripped to bare metal during restoration. This car had no rust or damage and I have the photos to document this.
- Engine bay completely smoothed and finished to match exterior
- New windscreen installed
- Unmodified body � no flares, scoops, wings or spoilers
- Repainted PPG 9300 black
- All the original and correct trim for a �pushbutton� car

Engine

- Extensively reworked polished aluminum SVO C302 heads (originally prepared for Tom Gloy, Trans-Am race car)
- Polished SVO spider manifold w/Holley 735
- Internally balanced w/aluminum flywheel
- Solid lifter cam with stainless roller rockers
- Custom 3� exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers
- Custom fabricated oil overflow breather system
- Dual remote oil filters
- All oil and fuel lines braided stainless w/AN fittings.
- 10qt. oil pan w/ temp sensor and gauge
- Aluminum gas tank etched, sealed and modified for AN fitting
- MSD / Dura Spark ignition

Cooling

- Stainless coolant bottles relocated with aluminum bracket
- Heads modified with air-bypass return lines (self-bleeding system)
- Aluminum radiator w/turbo fans
- Aluminum high flow/pressure water pump
- All hoses blue silicon

ZF

- Correct �25DS�1� transaxle rebuilt by RBT
- Safety wired
- New synchros
- Taller 5th gear

Interior

- Corbeau racing seats
- Sabelt 4-point harnesses
- Custom 4-point roll bar designed with side protection angled to compliment seat bolsters
- Original radio delete plate
- Personal steering wheel


Wheels/ Tires
- Front 8� single slot Campis
- Rear 10� custom single slot Campis
- Hoosier tires (less than 800 miles on rear and 10 miles on fronts)

Brakes

- Dual rear calipers and larger master cylinder
- modified pedal and fulcrum point for removal of vacuum booster
- Proportioning valve

Suspension / Chassis

- Powder coated A-arms w/Delrin bushings and zerk fittings
- Sphere-bar and polyurethane sway-bar mounts
- 7/8� rear sway-bar
- Modified upper A-arms in rear for improved roll center / geometry (adjustable)
- Aluminum shocks w/Eibach springs
- Aluminum engine bay brace
- Custom strut brace across front shock towers
- Bump steer kit

Electrical

- All engine bay wiring redone with mil-spec teflon wire
- Gel cell mounted in rear behind passenger seat (as on original Pantera cut-away drawing)
- Polished aluminum single wire alternator

Misc.

There is no rust on this car and it can easily be returned to full original stock configuration if desired. Depending on your preference I have several spares / original parts available:

- Wheels: set of original 7�F / 8�R single slot wheels
- (2) 285/40-18 tires, new, never mounted
- (2) Pirelli P7s 225/50-15s.
- Gotti wheels
- Jessel shaft mount roller rockers and roller lifters
- Original rear upper A-arms
- Original radiator and fans
- Original engine brace
- Late model deck lid modified with spoilers and perspex cover for racing
- Original seats recovered in leather and original seat belts
- Extra set of racing mufflers
- Oil cooler (can easily be added into existing oil system plumbing)

- Vacuum brake booster
