FYI

That big manufacturing giant across the Pacific known as China is buying US scrap iron at an enormous rate, paying top dollar for it. 351C engines were only manufactured in the US from model year 1970 to 1974. The Mustangs, Cougars, Torinos, Montegos and Rancheros they were installed in are 36+ year old cars, those that ended up in wrecking yards were recycled long ago. It was common at one time for wrecking yards to pull the engines before recycling the vehicles; the motors were a popular commodity, in demand by individuals and rebuilders. It has become profitable enough for the wrecking yards to sell the engines for scrap iron that many are electing to do so rather than to hold onto them for future buyers or rebuilders.
