Beautiful! You're an inspiration!
Looks great.
the reflections in the paint show nice work on the body.
How did you finish the window trim and mirror?
I was expecting white letters though

Thanks for the compliments JFB, JR Restorations made the body work look good. As for the chrome, they etched the bumpers, mirrors and window trim then primed and painted flat black. I think it looks great and they assured me they will not chip. As for the white lettering, the rear has them turned inside.....I tried to go with the softer more modern look.
Looks really great. I like the blacked out trim.
Good luck with the reinstall.
You will have a great car.

Front Windshield and motor dropped into place. Getting close but may not be enough time to get her into Dream Cruise........

Well after 15 weeks of work 4072 came back to life on Saturday September 27th. After 19 years of dormancy. Thanks to everyone who offered counsel and encouragement. What a rush!!! Fired her up with headers only at first. Woke everyone up! Then did an official with tailpipes attached (video) Hope to download the first lite but the system keeps saying it is too big.......

start up video is on my facebook page. I keep getting messages that it is too big for this site. Sorry guys! It does sound nice though. Watch the smoke come out the back with the first breath of life.
Congrats Dave, well done
Dave, the car looks fantastic. I look forward to seeing it in person.
