8 spong wiper switch (Alfa Montreal)

You have a good memory but I was forget.

think because my age.

I alreay try several combinations and it will not work , when I connect + on  spong , 1 there is also + on 2 .and was opened when I switch .

when I connect + on 3 there is no + on 4 , also not when I switched , the same problem on the other terminals.

I have 2 other new switches and the same problem

I open the ( new )switch carefully and think th problem is inside , the brass is dark , maybe the brass is corroded and have no conecting whit the terminals .

I go sand the terminals slightly and reasamble the switch.

let you know if this will work .

problem solved, it looks like that a voltage seeker whit lamp not work.

I connect the wiring as on Davids picture and the switch works .

Maybe whit the oxidatie from the brass connectors there is too much transition resistance . and the small voltage seeker lamp will not work.

Just to clarify, it's the late Pantera wiper switch with a symbol instead of the word "WIPERS", that this applies to.
