Yes,
Ali had a black Mangusta, bought by Herb Grass.
It was not known that it was Ali's car as there probably was another owner in between Ali and Herb. Herb told me that he found out a few months later when he took the top if the IP off and found the business card of Alis agent. He called him and was told it was Ali's.

Herb painted it McClaren orange with light gray screens and wheels. It was gorgeous.

The Jackson Pantera belonged to Jackie Jackson and was modified by George Barris
Vince Neil was the Motley Crew Guy (the drummer from the band 'Hanoi Rocks' was killed in the car when he and Vince were out for a drive)I was told and I can't remember by who that Eddie Money owned #6655 one made before mine

Rumoured Pantera owners (Can anyone confirm)?...
- Eddie Money
- Mario Andretti

Anyone know if Kenny Loggins ever owned a Pantera (or Mangusta) - he immortalized the DeTomaso marque in his song "Mr. Night" Smiler

Sorry - that's a little joke that some members around here last year may find funny..... I did, anyway!

Or maybe not.

Did he sell his car?
If he did, I hope Mike does a PPI on the plane he wants to buy, definitely . DON'T want to suck a valve at 10,000 ft! Sympathy
Sorry thats not the original Jackie Stewart car in the video. If I'm not mistaken the DT club UK were asked could they supply a yellow LHD GTS, similar to the one Jackie Stewart had originally owned, by the Top Gear production team in 2014. It was for a Racing Legends TV programme and this is the car they supplied.

The programme also featured a famous TV chef called James Martin who is nuts about cars. They did an earlier programme with him about restoring and rebuilding his Boss Mustang.

Sadly it didn't end well. Nobody told Jackie or Martin the car was fitted with a manual switch for the cooling fans and the car overheated in the Italian traffic. It totally cooked the motor. Engine was rebuilt and the car sold shortly after.

cheers
