I just tried the WD 40, and those stickers just won't rub off. I even tried soaking them with the WD 40 with a sock & rubber band around the tail pipe, then rubbed them, but no luck. Then the wife comes in the garage and sees socks on the tail pipes & just shakes her head. I would think they would get used to this type of thing by now.

Any other ideas? I may resort back to trying the acetone, bent over rubbing and sniffing that stuff all day isn't pleasant.

You might try Easy Off oven cleaner. I've used it on motor cycle exhaust and it worked pretty good. The advantage is that it works best when the pipe is warm to hot using a little steel wool. Hope this works for you!!
