My muffler tips have small ANSA stickers that are getting old looking from the heat. Anyone know where I could get new stickers? If not, maybe these stickers should just be polished off.

A note of caution on the ANSA logos! I like the way they look and when I installed my new ANSA system I was careful to keep them clean, etc. until I found out from other owners that the sickers can cause permanent marks on the chrome so I took them off. They make dark rust like marks under the sticker.

Thats interesting. I may try acetone and then fine metal polish to take my stickers off to see what I have under there. Then new decals if they have left a mark...thanks.

That�s what many people do if they discover the makes under the logo. The marks cannot be removed but the logo can be used to cover up the marks. If you use acetone to remove the logos be sure to use a very soft cloth and NOT a paper towel as the paper will make fine scratch marks in the chrome. Chrome cleaner might be a good thing for the final clean up rather than metal polish.

Yes, but are they heat proof?
Good point, waterproof may be nice, but may not mean squat if 90% of cars don't see rain or even have a hose taken to them. I need something that withstands HEAT.

I haven't tried a blow torch on the Ansa decals, but under normal operating conditions for the past 1850 miles the waterproof decals show no evidence of being affected by heat.
