Any tips / tricks for starter replacement

Hey Folks:

Quick question... are there tips/tricks/suggestions/advice for removing stock starter and replacing with modern high TQ starter. I have the new unit, looks like a couple of bolts, etc... but was wondering about the exhaust manifold, etc.

Thoughts?

Does the new HT starter have its own solenoid? If it does, then eliminate the stock solenoid. No need to have all that current running through two contacts.

I have Hall headers on my car and the starter was easy to remove without touching anything else.

Hey Folks:

I have the gts triY headers.. Is it possible swap the starter with the headers in place? And or anything that could be a pain?
