Anyone have a gas cap ?

Hello, while in Monterey at Concourso I managed to lose my gas cap and would like to replace asap. Its the more unusual screw-on type that goes on aftermarket neck (I assume for CA only but not sure) ? I'm told that they are out there but a bit difficult to find. I've tried most of my normal parts suppliers.

Any leads/clues would be appreciated !

It would help if you had a picture but if it's what I think it is, ipsco carries this with an attached chain to prevent future loss.

The extended filler necks were originally sold by Hall Pantera and I think they still sell them too. Not a factory part but a welcome update to early cars.

Due to the superb advice of Larry Finch (aka '2511' or aka the 'Pantera Godfather'), I talked with Mark at IPSCO today and got exactly what I needed shipped.

Many if not all screw-on gas caps were made by Hall for their extended filler neck assembly. They no longer carry the item but www.Panteraparts.com recently began reproducing the cap. See the Feb 2013 POCA Newsletter for a photo & details/price to see if it fits your car. Support your Pantera vendors!

I tried all the above vendors and no one seems to supply replacement caps anymore. The Hall caps are 2.5", 16 threads per inch. I found the following assembly from Meziere for $26, the cap fits perfectly.
