I tried to have a set of Ariston shocks rebuilt when restoring a Pushbutton Pantera and could not source the seals and other parts. I ended finding good pairs of front and rear Ariston shocks that were not leaking and went with those.
I checked with Koni here is the US and they can only work on red Koni shocks. Are you aware of a method to rebuild Ariston shocks?
If that can help you, I had mine refurbished, in France, by the STAC company: www.suspensions-stac.com (address: Chemin de Saint-Bernard, 06220 Vallauris - France) - Work well and not leak.
Pat Mical in MA, who has/had a shop called "Future Auto" used to not only rebuild black painted Ariston shocks, he also revalved them and threaded the bodies for adjustable spring seats. Pat once really wanted a Pantera Si, but they're so rare he couldn't find one. So he made body panels and converted his twin-turbo '73 to be visually identical to an early-'90s Pantera Si. But I haven't heard from him in a decade. Any old time east coasters remember?
I checked with Pat and he cannot get parts for the Ariston shocks. I asked about stickers for the Ariston shocks and he did not have those as well. He is still working on Panteras is likely a valued resource for those living in the MA area.
From what I know Ariston shocks design are stolen from Koni and are look a likes , from what I remember into the past my original Ariston are rebuild with Koni parts , plunjer valve's aso.
