making progress on electrical issues
lights to gauges working (bad wire from orange hot lead to connector just bypassed and took out rheostat)
horns themselves bad (new ones on way)
got power to cigarette lighter and replaced it w power port as it was aftermarket anyway
new oil temp gauge installed and wired waiting for sensor

still need to wire my dash courtesy light to switch, get tach and speedo lights working
on the negative i fried my radio ( i know i should disconnect te ground but when trying to sort this stuff out by myself didnt want to keep reattaching it, gonna have that monster amp and cd changer replaced anyway)

new issue
i installed a backup camera and wired t to the backup light switch with a y connector, it worked for a while but the passenger backup light was dim, hen quit working. i found the connection between the camera power and the y broken and repaired it. no joy. i have no backup lights or camera
i have power to the switch, the switch checks out ok, new switch same issue and when i bypass the circuit i have bu lights although passenger side dim any suggestions?

appreciate the thought mark but one thing to buy another to restore
Prior to the internet it was exponentially more difficult to restore any car, because of primarily the limited access to information & specific model idiosyncrasies.

Now with the internet a question or problem, is literally a Google search away or a question posted on a model specific website as evidenced by your inquiry/ies.

As seemingly EVER car has subtle nuances in regards to being taken apart & reassembled.

You invested in a car ( DeTomaso Pantera) that is only going to experience future appreciate, both monetarily & with an increasing following...Mark
