I need to raise the front of the engine 1" so that I can get a 20AN fitting off that is wedged up against the frame. The fitting goes to a hose that attaches to the stainless tubes under the car. This hose may have been attached prior to installing the engine and now it can't be removed because the frame has it boxed in. Maybe possible to remove the water pump to give it clearance but if I "Just" need to remove the 6 motor mount bolts, and the axles on both sides, maybe the bolt that holds the shifting rod in place along the frame, put a jack under the motor and lift? More involved? I can always cut the hose at the fittings and put a rubber hose on it with hose clamps...but that wouldn't be right would it? Makes a simple leak into a pain. Thanks for any suggestions!
