The Pantera sweep is 95 degrees, the shortest available for the Lucas motor. Sweeps are available in 5 degree increments all the way up to about 130 degrees. Stafford Vehicle Components in the UK are a good source and their web page has a good exploded view near the bottom. http://www.s-v-c.co.uk/prod_wipers.html

Contrary to others suggestions the park switch is not changeable and is a fixed switch with a plunger to activate. What triggers the switch and dictates what location is 'park' is a cam on the main gear. Now the cam can be changed between two locations to provide for left or right park.

I'd post a photo of the gear, but I just changed computer and have nothing by way of photo editing software to reduce the size at present. The plastic gears are what wears out and usually the source of a non-working wiper motor.

In a selfless plug I still have some of the replacement Lucas plastic gears I sell for $15 + P&P.

Julian, have you ever added a time-delay to the Lucas wipers?

Jack, that seems kinda pointless, I've never even used the wipers. Big Grin It's not that I don't drive in the rain, I just coat the screen with RainX as the windscreen rake is sufficient for the water to just bead up and get forced up an over.
