chrome removal on door

Are you asking about all of the chrome ,or one peice in perticular

I'd like to remove the horizontal piece at the base of the window on the outside.

Pretty sure those are attached with small screws - that sometimes back out and scratch your window glass - and removal means door panel removal, and then getting to the screws.

here's the short course.
1. remove the door panel
2. remove the window, yes the window.
3. remove the front window channel. bottom screw and one hidden on top of door, under the rubber.
4. remove the "vent" or triangle glass.
5. remove 4-5 tiny screws going through the whiskers
6. remove thelast tiny screw which is near the front of the chrome strip and was hidden by the "vent" glass

That is all there is to it.
