I'm assuming some areas have to be color sanded with the bare hand like around the wheel openings.

What kind of pads are you using on the buffer?

The car was completly color sanded with a DA attachment upto 1500 (this acts like a rubber block, but allowes, ot causes a "blocking" effect, flattening the clear coat). This was the final touch up, and the areas that needed attention were just nibbed by hand.

Mark, three different pads were used.

First was a wool pad ( ) with cutting compound (3m 05974)

Second was a white foam pad ( ) with Finesse (3m 05928)

Third was a black foam pad (3m 05725) and finishing glaze (3m 05996)

Final step was spray wax () and those yellow synthetic (sp) towels.

I'll post the missing part number tonight.
