Greetings!

Unfortunately it's been a while since I've been on here. As some of you may remember, I left Indy and moved to the Bahamas for a two year a work assignment (rough life, I know). Well, the two years are coming to an end and I'm coming back to the states by the end of the year! The Primal Princess has been in storage and will be moving from Indy as well. I've missed her much!

Would love to find any owners in the Raleigh area. I heard about the Morrisville C&C and hope to attend that at some point. Car will probably need a tune up first after laying idle for that long, but with the long honey-do list for moving into a new home, may take a little while.

Regards,

William

When you are out cruising, I am about 40 minutes south, near the cross roads of I40 & I95.    I  have a shed full of parts and no plans what to do with them

Welcome to the area!  I'm pretty close by in Cary. Let me know when you get her back out. Looks like a really nice cat!

Wow, it only seems like yesterday you posted on Facebook your arrival in the Bahamas, can't believe it's 2 years already!

Thanks guys for the replies.

Husker and TRSTNO1, do you have running cars and do you attend the Morrisville Cars & Coffee at all?

That’s right Joules, it went FAST!

Mine is running.

Too far for me. I'm about 1.5 hours from Raleigh/Durham.

TRSTNO1 hasn't posted in awhile. Don't know if he's lurking or not. Think his car was a project car.

Yeah, my car is a running project, but it's on the road. Haven't taken her to any car events yet. I've got her out this weekend though. PM me if you want to catch up sometime, or just talk Panteras. I've got a lot to learn yet!

Sounds good. Looks like you’re not that far from me.  I’m by Jordan Lake. Interestingly, I just connected with the manager of C&C and he said a red one goes sometimes but he doesn’t know who it is... will need to find out. 👍

Hmmm, maybe I need to make a road trip. C&C around here run from time change to time change so we're done for the year. Not very many shows until spring of next year.

Nice car TRSTNO1, congratulations!

HUSKER Is this yours?

Timing works so I can tune her up over the winter and get her road ready by the spring.

I'm in Rocky Mount, have a running 72 GT-5 conversion.  Sean Korb is in Raleigh and has a red pushbutton car, could be the other red one mentioned.  I would probably come out for an arranged C&C with several others.  I've done that for a show here some years ago (when I owned #22).  Also driven up to Richmond several times for shows there, especially the Central Virginia Mustang Club-sponsored shows.  At times there were 4 or so there.  Not as good as the Pocono shows or Atlanta ICD in the glory years, but a lot closer.  Henderson, NC has a nice show each fall I've also been to a few times, just very few European cars there.  Would be nice to have several roll in together there sometime.  Their categories are not very conducive to Panteras though.  We might be able to persuade some of the Richmond area owners to drive down there, only about 2 hours south of Richmond, an hour north of Raleigh and about the same for me.  It's a big affair (often around 800 cars).

Thanks Buttonguy. So now looks like there are 5 nearby. That’s wonderful! Sean Korb sounds familiar. Will need to look him up.

Once I’ve got her road ready would love to meet halfway, like Zebulon, and caravan to C&C, as a start. Looking at their FB page they seem to have some nice European cars. Interesting, looks like C&C is smack between you and HUSKER.

You have any pics of your GT-5? I saw your album for #22.

Thanks jfb05177. I meant to ask you why you have parts and no plan? Is there no car either?

Yep, that's mine. Beside it is Tomcat's car. He lives in Madison, a few miles north of Greensboro.

That’s great, another one! Have all you guys ever gotten together for a drive? Beautiful car Husker.
