I didn't read it as I don't want to get violent so early in the day. The over-zealous modifiers with cheap tastes on cheap budgets tend to dishonor the person first... THEN the marque if it happens a lot.

I see WAY too many of these cases in Pantera-land, as we all have, which sorry to say leaks over into the psyche of the non-Pantera fan.

I'm actually amazed sometimes at the HIGH build quality of my car, having had many dozens of internal bits scattered about during cleaning, r&r, etc. Ghia did a nice job; Dallara did a nice job; deTomaso did a nice job. I have no shame on the quality of our favorite cars.

As the POORLY overly modified cars eventually die off or go away, I think this 'questionable quality or taste' issue will fade accordingly. Can't wait.
All it proves is any jerk can host a website to post useless garbage. A true waste of all of our time, he definately has never driven or rode in a Pantera.

For the record the Pantera up for auction had 100 miles on it. If they can get 100k for a boss 302 mustang where 7000 were made why not a boss 351 in an italian car with similiar production #'s ?

Disappointing price considering the car is arguably the best Pantera in this category.

With only 100 documented original miles I was hoping the final price shattered the estimates of $125-$150,000.

For some reason these cars just don't do well at auctions.

regarding the camaro,
I recently sold my 1974 IROC, I went to the rm auction 2yrs ago and inspected the one that sold again over the weekend, and I was there for both sales.

What a hunk of shi.......fraud, thats it , pure fraud. that car is not an IROC, it has title paper work only, it is 74 camaro. restored wanna be by Brian Barnet the bigest name in Ferrari's for crook! So bad that Ferrari yanked his dealer rights years ago.back to the camaro, nothing about it is an IROC, I could go on for hours why, the short version is the one I sold was the only one period! that was original, unrestored, of the 5 known to exist. Documented and verifified by the owners of IROC, George and Barbera Sigorne, Peter of legendary motor cars flew me Canada to verify the one he was restoring was original, I surely know these cars.

Sorry, it pisses me off people get away with fraud like that.
but glad to see the pantera pulled some real cash.

Daniel
