Couple of questions (Not necessarily significant, just curious.)
1.) Was there a model or year distinction for the Pantera logo to go from the "blue & white" to the black background, replacing the "blue & white".
2.) The original shift plate has an "A" beside each numerical indicator. What does the A indicate.

Blue and white or "celeste y blanca" is the Argentinian flag, though the De Tomaso family had originally from Naples. The T was their cattle brand sign, I think the change occurred with the GT5S in 1979.....I may be wrong as some GTS brochures had the T symbol in the late 70's!

The
RM is short for retromarcia - italian for reverse
The A with the gear stands for
1A- Prima (italian for first),
2A Seconda (" " " second)
3A Terza (".....get the idea =)
4A Quarta
5A Quinta
