The Pink Panther was taken off the market. Although the paint scheme wasn't to everybody's tastes, the car did generate offers. If a customer could see past the color and appreciate the expensive, all-steel Group IV flares, etc., the car could have been a real value. The owner was firm in his price and we weren't able to make a deal on the car. We have a very high success rate in selling DeTomaso cars and we were sad that we couldn't find a new home for the Panther.

Thanks Dave. I did kind of toy with the idea of buying to make a statement that I am secure enough in my manhood that I did not feel intimidated out of driving a pink car. But then I thought, if I realy am secure enough, why do I feel the need to make a statement??? So I stopped thinking about it because if I realy am Gay, I don't want to know about it. Wink
In my younger days, which was not that long ago, well maybe longer than I want to admit, I wore alot of western clothing ( boots, jeans, western shirts, and yes George, a cowboy hat). I was riding around town with a friend of mine who was visiting in town and he said he was hungry and pointed out a sign advertising Pizza, so we pulled in to the Parking lot to see if we could get something to eat. This particular day I was wearing a solid "Pink" wrangler western shirt and my friend had made some comments about me being secure in my manhood to wear that color shirt or something to that effect. We went in to order lunch and realized it was more of a bar than a restuaraunt, but we didn't care and we ordered food. About that time the place started filling up with people and we realized it was a biker bar. And before we knew it the place was packed, and here I am looking more like a red neck, in a Pink shirt, and in a biker bar. Lets just say the comments were being slung around pretty heavy. I never wore that shirt again!

DeTom, don't worry about a measly 10%. I'm a full 1/3 gay (must be the decorating question and my old leather pants that killed me).

But I figure since we sleep 1/3 of our lives it must be during my sleep time that this gay alter self comes to life.

Check out my new late nite ride...

Wow Deeb, that is actualy a great idea. A car that when you get where you are going, you just slip it in your pocket so you don't have to park it. Where can I get me one of those pocket cars??????
Wow, after DEEB scored 30%, I was a bit worried. Not that I think I'm more gay than him (check out his garage), but I do dress better (IMHO), so, of course there was real cause for concern... I scored 16%. Wheew! Now, David, other than the leather pants, what are you hiding? Big Grin PS. Love the new car. Did you get black or white? Smiler
