My understanding is that JL Audio is a USA based company with several off-shore vendors and suppliers. They make most of their higher end components in the US including their well known subwoofers drivers and assemblies. They are a well respected company with good products. We use the same vendor (US based) for a few components and they are high spec items.
If the sound, style and installation fits your needs, the system is probably worth keeping. Just my 2 cents.

Radio..? rip it out all after 2000rpm..you need ear plugs vs a radio!!

I understand...# 1791 has headers which eliminates the need for an audio system..I guess something needs to fill that space
