Door locks

can't you get a locksmith make a key for your lock? they are standard fiat keys

Problem is that I don't know how the key should look like. I have 3 keys for my car, and no of them Works for the doorlocks.

So I will have to get a locksmith to change my Locks somehow to fit one of my excisting keys. But it would probably be easyer for my to find another Lock/key set ?

Heine, the rear deck key and doors has same design. Its Fiat ;-) I had 2 different keys for the doors, so pulled the left drum out of the lock and put the right door key in and filed the little plungers to match ;-) its really simple. If you cant pull out the drum because you dont have the right key, just take it to a proper lock smith and he can do the trick. These kind of locks he can unlock with a wiener sausage ;-)

I am not sure about the actual lock drums, but 99% sure they can be found in something Italian 70's

had the same problem. My locksmith didn´t have any problems to produce keys on the basis of the doorlock itself. Shall I send you photos of my keys?

Heine if you are having trouble finding blank keys, our local lock smith has them, standard 70's Fiat. 50kr each (cut)

Thank You so much Guys. I will try'n drive around in my area tomorrow, before I leave for Techno Classica in Essen , Germany. Hopefully one of my local locksmiths can fix it. Now I know what keyblank to use, at least.

It is very easy to put in power locks, my doors already had the holes for the. couple wires hook it up to power.
