drivers side fender

Careful here. A '71 fender is in the 'early' fender series. They changed around VIN 2700? Headlight opening is the only major change, but check dimensions of what you need versus what you find available. If replacing fender and bucket, be aware of possibly creating a car with differences in left to right bucket sizes. Probably not noticed by anyone, but... I was told my repairs to 2511 used the last NOS early fender to be found here in the states. It was hanging in Dennis Quella's shop in Denver. Call the various vendors to see what they have in their used/wrecked piles. Or find a good body man ;-)
