problem is, when my car is running, all the lights PULSE INTERMITTENTLY, very slightly, but noticeable,i'm running a stock alternator,external regulator, and a MSD coil (no box)distributor/wires....(all new), i'm getting a constant 14 volts at the (new autometer VOLTS gauge),but can still see slight pulsing at the gauge ...THANX for the help guys !.................DAVE

Hi Dave,
We were in contact several months ago. I am Steve from Shoreham. Finally got the car running with a few issues remaining but it is road worthy. In response to your question, I have heard that the fuse block may cause problems like you describe, sometimes there is a grounding issue. I have a new block from Pantera East but have not installed it yet so I cannot reccommend it. Now that the car is running we should meet up sometime.
...Yes, the fuses could always be at fault. I'll bet the 'External Regulator', now 32 Years old; is 'acting up'. Those old regulators are Mechanical, They work like two large relay switchs. ChangeOver to a New Alternator with the 'Built-In' Electronic Regulator, and I think You Pulsing will be a thing of the Past...
