I took out my radiator to have a leak repaired. While doing so, got a little ahead of myself in pulling the cooling tubes from underneath to clean and replace the rubber.

Didn't properly note which of my "left" or "right" tubes goes to the upper or Lower radiator hose? It appears you could reinstall either way, and yes, I feel like a dummy.

George, once the answer comes back, you can delete this post so my idiocy will not live on forever!

the tubes don't "cross.

The left hand tube connects to the coolant pump suction at one end and the upper radiator nipple at the other end. The upper nipple is in essence the radiator outlet, notice it is located in the bottom of its respective tank.

Thanks for making me feel better, Ron. If YOU could consider this question, it gives my brain new self-esteem.

Exacty as Brother George states .. which also seem very logical ..because then you dont have to jump one pipe over the other .. they sort of smoothly weave up to the right.

Finally found the time to put it all back together. Detailed while in there, undid the wires on the relays, painted up under the bare metal. Wow.

Anyway, got it in, filled it according to sequence. Car leaked slightly and I double clamped. I think it's all tight, except for one thing...

NOW, when I turn on my switch, my left fan comes on! It WAS (before rad removal) coming on with the thermoswitch at about 190, but now, full on all the time. What did I do wrong?
