I have new fan relays. One comes on at 180 deg. the other at around 195-200 degrees. I have two meriah fans in front of radiator and a 100 amp alt. The fan relay that comes on first stops working when the other one comes on at 200. The car doesn't go past 195 very often because I don't drive around town much. Before I put another relay on I would like to make sure this won't happen again. The solenoid inside the fan relay is burnt when this happens(twice). Right now the fan is wired to work when engine is on, both work together great. Car stays 200 deg on a warm day stop and go, 185 on fwy. I would like to make this right and put on the relay

This probably happened because the toy OEM fan motors (Jag windsheld wiper motors) were sized to pull much less amperage than Hall's big "Meriah" fans. The OEM relays weren't designed to carry such electrical loads. To fix this right, put on bigger than stock relays, or as you have, wire one fan direct to the ignition, the other to the unused rocker switch on the console. Hundreds of Panteras including mine are wired direct with good results. Check the Meriah fan motors to find the amps the new relays must switch. Note- if all the electrical connections in the fan (and headlight)circuit aren't clean & very tight, they get hot which increases the amp load.

It sounds to me like you simply have a wiring problem somewhere. Be SURE that the relays are wired correctly; you could have one wire attached incorrectly somewhere that's giving you these fits.
