Hi Jack was wonder if u would mind posting the specs for your car as a pi member from down under I don't get to see all the great cars in the states and else where.
But of more interest to me is what mods have u made to your car. ie. Cooling have u laid the radiator down and gone to alloy.Sucker or blower fans.
You mentioned that u run 4x8" rims. What are the tyre brand, size, rating and model name.I think u get the idea.
I'm doing up a 72 l and am tying to remain kinda loyal to the original .
Since u have a lot of experience with the p car I'm just interested in what the Boss runs.
Cheers from down under Cj
Ps Thanks for all the advice over the years.

Geeeeez, CJ, you don't know what you're asking! Since buying the car in 1980, I've broken about everything except the wiring loom, and replaced or redesigned most of the stuff except the body- it's still an L model. The car weighs 2895 lbs with about a half tank of gas- I pulled over 400 lbs out while keeping all the functions like AC,stereo etc. My goal was to have the reliability of a brick so my wife could safely drive it anywhere, any time, while upping the handling, power, brakes, comfort etc. But thats maybe a good subject for a POCA or PI story- the current mod-list takes 3 pages single-spaced... My current tires are 245-50x 15 Goodyears in front with ancient Pirelli P-7Rs in 275-55x 15 rears. Just recently, I verified that they still hold together at 145 mph, though.
